Fuge LTD. Company History TZU (UK) Ltd. was established when Managing Director of Fuge Ltd., Ching-He Huang, was marketing fresh soya milk for Fuge Ltd. (her fresh food company) as she saw the need for producing healthy natural food and drink. She was holding sampling sessions at a health store in West London for the soya drinks and met an elderly lady who shared her devotion to using cider vinegar for easing her arthritis. An idea began to take shape. Of Taiwanese origin, Ching-He already understood and knew about the health effects of brewed vinegar, used as a tonic in the Far East to help increase metabolism, aid weight loss and help digestion. She began formulating a recipe that would incorporate brewed aged sorghum vinegar with juice to make the drink enjoyable on a daily basis, any time of the day. It was designed to help complement a meal and as a healthier alternative to other artificial soft drinks. The brand was called TZU, pronounced "TA-ZU" originates from the Mandarin word for "Vinegar". The brand started with a Still range followed by the popular Sparkling and Cordial range. Ching-He translates the philosophy of "Shui Yuan" (eating and drinking with flow, with minimal stress from her food business to TZU) A balanced diet gives you ultimate happiness inside and out as a healthy diet gives a healthy life. This was the inspiration behind TZU's strapline - "Balance Yourself" - where the decision of living a healthy lifestyle begins with yourself, the first step, and knowing that it's within one's reach.
